Exhibition with Wojtek Müller and Kasia Podgórska-Glonti
Glass structures in the form of cascading multi-meter rods or intricate lace, falling on the viewer like a rain of light or complementing the form of some destruct, or fencing off a carried prop of everyday life with an inaccessible halo of sanctity, supplementing like an aura around a living being the form of the primitive shape of a split boulder - it is both a philosophical commentary on everyday life and the author's trademark. And although next to the fragile glass structures there are video projections, photos, damaged wooden furniture, rusted stoves, irons, machines, desks, etc., etc., this fragile commentary determines the expression of Komorowska-Birger's works. The expression of these works is so strikingly honest, true, and poignant that it often puts the viewer in a situation of embarrassment that accompanies the accidental suspicion of something that may not have been intended for us.
