Stop messing around with this damn light

The works of these four artists were placed in a space that, like a photographic darkroom, was filled with incidental flashes of subdued light from Paulina Komorowska-Birger's installation. This presentation method "opened" the work because, while protecting it from light, it simultaneously made light its source. Their gleam does not reflect any external form - they opalesce with their own immanent energy. In this way, through heightened sensory perception, attention can be redirected
to the very source of the presentation - referring, however, to something beyond it, constituting its meaning, while being completely hidden. Therefore, images already completed (remembered) or fixed in some material must, on the one hand, acquire corporeality, strengthen their physical status, and on the other hand, question that corporeality - become signs in which the material substrate would be completely "overexposed" (nullified).
