My mother gave me a blouse and vest sewn and embroidered by my grandmother.

My grandmother Paulina was a famous seamstress from the Krynica area. She died shortly after the end of the war.

My mother sewed clothes for my sister, myself, and herself during the communist era. This blouse dates from that period.

When Pola was six, she sewed a brooch with seashells for me.

Last year, for her birthday, I gave Pola a blouse with Kashubian embroidery, which I had sewn and embroidered when I was 12.

Pola currently lives on the Baltic Sea.
