(...) Each work compels one to stop, to look beyond the boundaries set by it. Subconsciously, we sense their meanings, and the fact that they are not what they represent makes being in their environment an intellectually exciting journey. It would be tempting to call it navigating through the thicket of semantic content—an adventure, but that would be a simplification of this experience. Interacting with Paulina's works often fills one with fear of the fragility of matter, admiration for the meticulous execution of the pieces, emotion associated with the conveyed meanings, and a desire to study more deeply.(...) However, it's not easy to reach the sources lying at the foundation of Paulina Komrowska-Birger's way of thinking. The metaphors she uses are not banal, the humor she conveys in her works is extremely subtle, and the fragility of the material used often contrasts with the conveyed meanings.(...) Paulina's art is a deep breath, an acceptance of what is inevitable, a belief in life and its value. In her works, she delves into deep layers of sensitivity, often consciously repressed in adult life.
