The inspiration for the cycle of drawings-collages, started in April 2022, was a sketch by Jan Buck titled "Forest by the Beach" - ink drawing. The initial works are simplified landscapes reflecting the sketchy drawing – the prototype. Subsequent pieces, maintaining their simplicity in form but expressive in conveying current issues, depict the war in Ukraine, fish mortality in the Oder, or rapid weather changes related to the climate crisis. The works can be presented according to different systems: taking into account the dates of creation, the themes addressed, or creating an independent abstract composition. The cycle is ongoing and currently comprises around 80 drawings.
